Typography Test

I chose this quote for a couple of reasons. For one thing, I am a fan of Walt Disney and everything Disney. Also, I like this quote because it is full of encouragement and makes you feel good.
I added some color to my piece by making the word "dreams" a light blue. I chose light blue because I think it is a relaxing color. I made the word "Courage" orange. I did this because orange is the complementary color of blue. I made the background a pink because it is a positive and happy color which went well with my encouraging quote. I chose a very pale pink, though, so it would not be too much and take away from the quote.
I chose to use three different fonts to add some variety to my quote. I used the font Myriad Pro on basic words because it is simple and easy to read. For the word "dreams", I used a script font because I feel the font gives a feeling of fantasy and imagination. I used Old English Text MT on the word "courage". I picked this font because it looks very noble. It also reminded me of a time when there were knights in shining armor who were very brave and courageous.
To add some different shape to my piece of typography, I made the words "can come true" in a arch. I did this because whenever I hear those words, I think of the song that is played at the start of every Disney movie. I reminds me specifically of the part in the song when they play the music for the lyrics, "can come to you" and Tinkerbell makes the arch of sparkles. "Pursue" is diagonal to add something different and eye-catching to the piece. I also made some of the words I thought were important larger.
In conclusion, I think my quote turned out well and I am happy with my final product.
